Hi, my name is Michael Bridges and this site will feature my original surreal art. Being a surrealist means you think outside the box. What most artists might paint as a pretty flower the surrealist will paint as a flower with a face. or a flower with teeth or a flower growing out of a hand.
Surrealism comes from deep inside the mind. It's the need to make reality into something different. I like to call this unreal realism.
The image to the right is a book written by Robert Hill, titled "One Second Before Awakening". The cover features one of my paintings (you can see the original painting here). I have read through some of the book and it is a very interested and original concept.
Right from the very first paragraph it draws you in and makes you want to find out what is going on and what will happen next. What is really interesting is the book is based on on the art of Salvador Dali.

My Artwork available as prints
Along with my original surrealistic artwork I am also offering canvas prints, poster and framed prints of my work. The canvas prints are stretched and mounted on wooden stretchers, they look very much like the original paintings. The poster prints are high grade, gallery quality prints.
You can see all the prints and posters I have available at Fine Art America. This is one of the best places to get fine art prints and posters.
You will also notice that on all of the artwork pages there is a social icons strip at the bottom of the page like the one you see below.
